Hot water solutions provider, Mixergy, has received the coveted King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
The awards, previously known as the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, are designed to recognise outstanding UK businesses. So far, only 46 have received the King’s Award specifically for innovation.
Founded 10 years ago, Mixergy’s smart and connected hot water solutions use machine learning and innovative engineering to provide products that reduce carbon and maximise efficiency in the home.
Mixergy cylinders are compatible with any heat source, at any time during the product’s lifetime, including gas or electric heating, solar PV or heat pumps.
As the UK electrifies, every home will need a hot water cylinder. Mixergy’s smart technology can turn each one into a connected heat battery, empowering the grid to connect more renewable energy, while lowering bills for tenants and homeowners.
‘Highlighting dedication and passion for lower carbon energy sources’
Pete Armstrong, CEO and Co-Founder of Mixergy, said: “We’re incredibly proud to receive The King’s Award for Enterprise.
